I have always known I wanted to be a teacher since elementary school. I narrowed my interests to Spanish and/or Portuguese
when I was at Woodrow Wilson High School. After graduating in 1987, I attended the University of California Santa Barbara
where I got my BA in Spanish 1992. I recieved a teaching credential from California Lutheran University. I returned to UCSB
to get a Master of Arts in Spanish in 1999.
I have a 60 gallon aquarium with 2 large albino oscars, 2 convict
fish and 2 huge plecos; 55 gallon with 1 large tiger oscars, 1 salvini and 1 large pleco, a 20 gallon waiting inspiration.
I love to cook, crochet and tat which is how I used to pass the time with my Avolita Maria Ameila and my Madrina
Florinda. My grandmother, her two sisters and thier two husbands, mom, dad, little brother all lived together since
I was 3 months old (well until the older folks passed).
